DESCRIPTION: Exterior Revamp, interior lobby and some guest rooms.

PROJECT SCOPE:
Exterior: Full envelope rehab, caulking, painting, installation of new stucco, installation of new roof and addition of a roof deck, lead abatement, installation of new awnings.
Interior: Demolition, Plumbing, Electrical, New Drywall, Installation of new Carpet and Wallcovering, Installation of New Tile, Millwork, and Painting. Full renovation of the public washrooms while adding additional stalls and creating an accessible washroom.
UNIQUE FEATURE: This building is 100 years old! Being an old building this hotel had its own set of unique challenges once demolition had begun
LOCATION: 3111 Grant McConachie Way, Richmond
DESCRIPTION: 385 rooms, corridors, and Gold Floor.
DURATION: 3 Months – Gold Floor & 6 months – 348 rooms

UNIQUE FEATURE: This hotel is very busy so timelines were tight and finishing had to be at the highest quality. With many gorgeous design elements this project is one of the jobs we are most proud of.
LOCATION: Downtown Vancouver, BC
DESCRIPTION: Interior Renovations
DURATION: 7 months
PROJECT SCOPE: Complete interior upgrade, including guest rooms, guest hallways and meeting rooms. 389 rooms and all corridors renovated.
UNIQUE FEATURES: Due to the luxury standards of the Four Seasons, this project required a precise level 5 finish to all textured ceilings. We completed this project with an on-time hand over of every floor, one each Friday at 4PM until completion.
LOCATION: 4405 Central Blvd, Burnaby
DESCRIPTION: Interior Renovations
DURATION: 2 months
PROJECT SCOPE:Full lobby demolition and new renovation as well as great room and breakfast buffet area renovations.
UNIQUEFEATURE: Due to brand standards, hotels must update their guest spaces to meet certain requirements, and Prostar is proud to have given this hotel not only one new lobby in 2015, but a second new lobby in 2019.
LOCATION: 4154 Village Green, Whistler
DESCRIPTION: Interior Renovations
DURATION: 8 weeks
PROJECT SCOPE: Guest room upgrades including complete bathroom renovation and guest suite wall coverings in 83 rooms. AC units installed in guest suites from the exterior.
UNIQUE FEATURE : Very tight timeline (more than 10 rooms completed per week with a large scope). Room and washroom upgrades including a wide array of Prostar staff: tilers, painters, wall covering installers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC installers and hotel staff to accommodate the tight schedule. Working with the building inspectors of Whistler to upgrade this aged hotel to meet modern building code.
LOCATION: 19515 Langley Bypass, Surrey
LOCATION: 1601 Bayshore Dr., Vancouver
DESCRIPTION: Interior Renovations
DURATION: 2 months
PROJECT SCOPE: Complete renovation of a storage room to a beautifully designed coffee shop inside the hotel’s main lobby. The design was implemented by Liv Design Studio whose office is also located within the hotel. Including in this renovation wastile flooring, electrical work, cabinet & counter installation, various design elements and interior painting. A second project was completed later in the year which was a full conversion of an unused pop-up space into a beautiful yoga studio looking out onto the hotel’s courtyard and pool.
UNIQUE FEATURES: Both of these projects were completed during regular hotel operations. The coffee shop’s unique design required many hands-on deck and a strict working schedule to be able to turn over within the allocated time frame.

DESCRIPTION: Interior Renovations and Exterior Envelope
DURATION: 7 Months
PROJECT SCOPE: Complete interior upgrade including guest rooms and hallways, all ballrooms, lobbies, meeting rooms and restaurant / lounge as well as complete exterior concrete restoration and painting
UNIQUE FEATURE: All textured ceilings skim coated to a level 5 smooth finish. Working alongside electricians & plumbers as the building was refurbished for sprinklers and new fire alarm system. Renovation of lobby while hotel continued operations.
